Getting The Magnesium You Need This Summer

It’s only June and we’ve already hit temperatures near 100 in North Carolina.

So, we’re all sweating every time we walk out the door. And those of you who work outside – yowza! You’re dripping from dawn to dusk!

The more you sweat, the more your magnesium levels are depleted and the harder it is on your body.

Why Is Magnesium So Important?

Every single cell in your body contains magnesium. About 60% of the magnesium in your body occurs in your bones, while the rest occurs in your muscles, soft tissues, and fluids, including blood. (1)

There are several hundred functions where magnesium plays an important physiological role particularly in the brain, heart, and skeletal muscles. Adding magnesium on a daily basis has been shown to be beneficial in treatment of, among others, pain, migraines, blood pressure management, blood sugar management, depression, coronary artery disease, and asthma. (2)

Basically, if you’re over 50 or you sweat, you’re deficient.

How are YOU getting enough magnesium in your diet?

Getting Enough Magnesium

If you think taking a magnesium pill is good enough, think again. Most of the time that pill doesn’t break down in your intestines and you end up pooping it out like a rabbit pellet. Gross but true.

And green leafy vegetables and nuts are good, too but you can’t eat enough of them to give your body what it needs especially in the summertime.

Magnesium Chloride Benefits, Magnesium Oil Uses, Magnesium Oil, Magnesium Benefits, Zechstein SeabedThe easiest and quickest way to get what you need is from Magnesium Oil. Spray it on your lower belly and it immediately absorbs into your system through your skin. No worries about digesting it (or not).

I use it twice a day – once in the morning and again before I go to bed. It may tingle when you apply it but that’s a big sign that you’re deficient and that stops after a few uses. But, I STILL get a tingley sensation occasionally and that’s when I know I need a couple of extra spritzes.

Why spray it on your lower belly? Because you generally do not shave that area of your body and I caution folks NOT to spray magnesium on freshly shaven skin. It burns causing bouts of cussing.

Take care of yourself this summer with magnesium oil. Need more information? Reach out to me through this simple contact form or you can call me at the number listed above.

Many blessings for a wonderful and healthy summer!

P.S. Magnesium is helpful for your sleep hygiene, too!
